2019 Was a A Greyt year for Grey Wolf

Over 310 Scouts from Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouts completed Northern Star Scouting’s National Youth Leader Training (NYLT) program called Grey Wolf. 2019 had the largest number of Female participants ever with 28 completing the training (5 from Venturing and 23 from Scouts BSA). The four one-week sessions were facilitated by an amazing volunteer youth staff of over 110 Scouts who were supported by over 25 adult volunteers.

Grey Wolf NYLT is a one-week program held in June and July, at Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp. It replicates the first three weeks of typical unit operations, including patrol leader's council meetings, troop/crew meetings, patrol meetings, and planning for a big event. Becoming a better leader is the theme, but many aspects apply to daily life.
