Eagle Scout Photo
Because Pictures Last Longer
Northern Star Council offers two professional photography studios for Eagle Scouts to have portraits taken. Whether a family chooses to use one of the council services or another photographer, we'll celebrate a Scout's elevation to Eagle by displaying an 8 x 10 photo in the office lobby.

Picture Day Pro!: offers a special mini portrait Session for Eagle Scouts, along with a variety of portrait packages and keepsake photo products. For over 40 years, Picture Day Pro has provided Scouting families and businesses in the Twin Cities metro area with high quality family portraiture.
A basic Eagle session is only $25 (plus tax), and includes 8 to 10 portrait images. Picture Day Pro! provides an Eagle badge, pin, neckerchief and Eagle slide for portraits on an American flag background. Subject changes are available for an additional $10 each, and can include 6-8 more photos of Scout and parent or siblings.
A $40.00 (plus tax) minimum order is required (this covers 2 color 8x10 sheets). Session fee and portrait order is paid at the time of the session. Basic retouching for blemishes is an option for $15.00. Finished portraits are printed on Kodak paper. A CD with digital files is also available. Don't forget your sash!
Picture Day Pro! will provide a free 8x10 portrait to your council for display. Court of Honor coming up soon? No Problem! Eagle Scout portrait images can be viewed immediately after your photo session, and finished portrait orders can be mailed directly to your home in 2 to 3 days from the time of your order.

What should I wear for my Eagle photo?
- Wear a clean, tidy uniform with your Eagle badge and medal
on it. You can also wear your merit badge sash. You will need to
provide your own neckerchief and slide if you choose to wear these
What if I haven't yet had my Eagle Court of Honor and don't
have my Eagle badge and medal on my uniform?
- The studios listed above all have the Eagle rank badge and medal that you can borrow.
Do I have to use your photographers?
An Eagle Scout does NOT have to use one of these services. A
family may choose to use the photographer or studio of their choice,
have the photos taken, and provide an 8x10 print to the council office for
our archive files.
