2023 Million Dollar Day for Scouting

Gather your co-workers, friends and family for an event not to be missed!  This extraordinary event brings Scouting supporters like you under one roof, united by a shared vision of empowering young people and creating a more resilient community.

AND we’re going to raise $1 MILLION to support Scouting – all in one day!  It’s Million Dollar Day!

This year, the keynote speaker is Dr. Andrew Howard, Professor of Astronomy at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Growing up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Dr. Howard achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 426.  A leading expert in his field, Dr. Howard's research focuses on discovering and studying planets beyond our solar system, using some of the world's largest telescopes. His insights into the formation and evolution of planetary systems provide a broader context for understanding our own solar system.

During the event, Dr. Howard will share his perspective on the importance of leadership and community service that Scouting provides youth, enabling them to overcome challenges and become future leaders.

Join us in making the Million Dollar Day for Scouting a resounding success!  This year there will be two event opportunities:

  • The St. Paul breakfast will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the Intercontinental Hotel Riverfront (11 E. Kellogg Street, St. Paul).
  • The Base Camp breakfast will take place the following morning on Thursday, December 8, 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the TeamBuilding Center at Base Camp (6202 Bloomington Road, Fort Snelling).

Thank you for your unwavering support, and we look forward to your presence at Million Dollar Day for Scouting.
