Exploring Volunteer Recognized

Please join us in congratulating Retired Chief Mike Goldstein, former Explorer, long-time Exploring Volunteer, Council Board Member and former interim Chair of the Council's Juvenile Diversion Committee on being selected to receive a Silver Beaver Award at the upcoming 2024 Council Awards Luncheon.

Mike has already received the Spurgeon Award for his great contributions to Exploring, but he is now being recognized for his contributions to scouting and venturing for his work with our Juvenile Diversion Program, which gives first -time/minor juvenile offender an opportunity to change directions and compete a 6 week training program with community service and avoid further legal consequences for their actions.
