Silver Beaver Award Recipients Recognized at Luncheon

Scouting creates memories and this year’s Council Luncheon was no exception. As the sun rose on Base Camp on Saturday April 1st, mother nature had just delivered another 9 inches of snow catapulting the Twin Cities into the 3rd snowiest winter on record.

Be Prepared is a motto that our Silver Beaver Recipients and guests took to heart. Even with poor road conditions, we still had 278 attendees arrive on time. The warmth of fellowship matched the day as the sun shown and melted the snow. It was a great day to celebrate all that is Scouting, from our achievements to the trials and challenges that Scouters must overcome.  When you see them, please congratulate our newest class of Silver Beavers:

  • Allan Arntson, District M
  • Liesl Bell-Fleming, District N
  • Trent Doering, District H
  • Renee Estrella-Wells, District O
  • Adam Grau, District J
  • Carina (Cari) Humphries, District N
  • Myron Jacobson, District G
  • Clinton Koskie, District H
  • Greg Kugler, District K
  • Scott Mehl, District J
  • Rachel Thiemann, District M

In addition to our Silver Beaver Award Recipients, we recognized several other awards at the Luncheon. Our 2023 Torch of Gold Recipient was Brian Reiners from District N. Scouts Dilshan Rajan and Sal Aloisio received the Distinguished Conservation Service Award. Chuck Gitzen received the Silver Antelope Award and Pat Noack received the Silver Buffalo Award. We also learned about three of our Eagle Scout Scholarship recipients: Aaron Anderson, Hannah Marik, and Sal Aloisio.

Congratulations to all. See you again next year.
