National Constitution Center Overview

The National Constitution Center is a private nonprofit museum that was established through the National Constitution Heritage Act of 1988.  Similar to the Scouting program, the National Constitution Center holds a congressional charter, with their organization focusing on desseminating information about the U.S. Constitution on a nonpartisan basis.  From time-to-time, the National Constitution Center offers opportunities for virtual educational events that Scouts can participate in to help toward achieving specific advancements, or broaden understanding of our country's institutions and founding doucments.

Upcoming Offerings

On Thursday February 17, 2022 the National Constitution Center will offer a session titled, Election Connections.  The session does not tie-in to a specific Scouts BSA requirement or advancement, but will highlight rare artifacts from historic elections and cover the history of our electoral system.  Registration is $5 per Scout.
