The Votes Are In

This design featuring canoeists under a starry sky in one of our many lakes, rivers and streams was the decisive winner with 51% of the online votes (compared to 33% for the next closest design). Gold was the top border choice with 39% of the votes (red was 2nd with 34%). More than 900 votes were cast between April 1 – 15 following two previous elimination rounds.

The new design is being ordered through the Scout Shops and should be available this summer. We will keep everyone posted on when the new patches arrive on our website and social media.

Note – although we hope you’ll like the new council shoulder strip so much you will want to update yours right away, know that they do not expire, so you can continue to wear the current council strip for as long as you wish.
