HERO Center and MLEEA Training Recap
A tremendous opportunity for Explorers
The Minnesota Law Enforcement Exploring Association (MLEEA) hosted a training event on Saturday and Sunday March 25 and 26th at the HERO Center in Cottage Grove.
More than 80 Law Enforcement Explorers from 12 of our Exploring posts worked through challenging scenarios that included: street decisions, crime scene processing, first aid call, traffic crashes, traffic stops, and burglary.
Thank you to the following for being scenario facilitators: Minnesota State Patrol, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Plymouth Police Department, Minneapolis Police Department, and to the Spring Lake Park OEC (Occupations in Emergency Care) program for providing an advisor and 3 of their Explorers and their ambulance for the first aid scenario.
Special thank you to Brandon Brugger for all of his time and effort in coordinating this event!
