Northland Spring Camping Opportunities

Northern Star Scouting is excited to continue hosting exciting spring opportunities for Cub Scouts in the Northland. We have two great events coming up that we highly recommend checking out!

"Invention Connection" Spring Cub Day Camp

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025

Location: Camp Chicagami, 3755 Scout Camp Rd, Eveleth, MN 55734

Cub Scout Day Camp is a Camping Day program for all youth attending K -5th Grade in the fall! Enjoy a full day of activities, such as crafts, nature, sports, BB guns, archery, and games.

Spring Webelos Action Camp

Date: June 13-15, 2025

Location: Camp Chicagami, 3755 Scout Camp Rd, Eveleth, MN 55734

Spring WAC is a weekend campout for current Scouts/youth going into 4th or 5th grade in the fall to get a taste of what tent camping is like in a Scout troop setting.  Over the weekend, Scouts will get to practice outdoor cooking with their units, while also experiencing other outdoor and scout skills.

Friday is camp set up and large group activities. Saturday is going to station activities around meals ending with a campfire, where the kids put on a campfire program.  

Sunday is breakfast in camp and clean up.
