Silver Beaver Recognition Luncheon
Annually, nominations for the Silver Beaver are requested for those Scouters that have exemplified the values that are core to the Scouting program and who have made an impact on the lives of youth through unselfish service to the council and community. The award is given to those nominees who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self- sacrifice, dedication and many years of service. The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition a local council can bestow upon volunteer leaders. Upon nomination by their local Scout council and with the approval of the national Court of Honor, the award is presented at a court of honor. Nominations were due December 1st 2022 and the recipients of the Silver Beaver Award for 2022 have been selected.
The Council Recognition Court of Honor and Luncheon event is a yearly function where Northern Star Scouting honors volunteers for their work in support of the Scouting program and community. At the event, Silver Beaver Award recipients are recognized, alongside other youth and adult award recipients and honorees.
This year’s event will be held on April 1, 2023 at Northern Star Scouting’s TeamBuilding Center.
