2026 Upcoming Merit Badge Opportunities

Northern Star Scouting continues to work to connect partner organizations with Scouting volunteers to offer Merit Badge opportunities throughout the year. Using the Merit Badge program, program partners engage youth in a deeper understanding of a vocation or hobby tied to their mission and purpose as an organization. 

Here are some of the upcoming Merit Badge Opportunities we are offering with community partners:

Public Safety Merit Badge Event

Where: HERO Training Facility, Cottage Grove

When: Saturday, June 27

North Star Museum Workshops

Registration is open for the July 2026 Merit Badge Workshops. Scouts can make progress on several Eagle-required and elective merit badges during focused half-day sessions, including:

• Citizenship in the Community
• Personal Management
• Citizenship in the Nation
• Scouting Heritage
• Communication
• Citizenship in the World
