About Uniform Exchange
Donate, Purchase, or Receive an Experienced Uniform
The Uniform Exchange helps Northern Star Scouting families purchase, receive, or donate gently used uniforms. Our goal is to ensure every Scout has access to a uniform.
Before You Begin
- Available only to registered Northern Star Scouting members.
- Appointments are required for in-person shopping. See contact information below.
- Limit one uniform per Scout.
- Availability varies by size and style.
Purchase a Uniform
Purchase a gently used uniform from the Leadership Center (6202 Bloomington Road) by appointment or via the online ordering form.
Can't visit? Submit a Uniform Request; we will do our best to find the items you need.
Shipping is available for families who cannot make it to the Leadership Center. Shipments are processed approximately twice a month. You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped.

Donate a Uniform
Help another Scout participate in the program by donating a gently used Class A uniform.
We accept Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing uniforms in good condition, including shirts, pants, and shorts. We especially appreciate current uniform styles that are clean, without holes or stains.
Please keep t-shirts, sweatshirts, patches, and books along with the great memories from your days wearing the uniform!
Cost a Barrier?
Northern Star Scouting families who cannot afford a uniform may receive one at no cost. Simply let us know when requesting a uniform. No additional documentation is required.
