Your donation to the Campership Program helps hundreds of Scouts from low-income families, families in stress, and at-risk youth attend camp. A gift today can give young people the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature, try new hobbies and make lifelong friends.

Your gift keeps the camping experience affordable for all young people. The value of outdoor activities cannot be overstated. Youth learn faster about themselves and their abilities when they are outside of their day-to-day surroundings. Please help continue the tradition and expectation of a great camp experience for everyone.

In 2024, over $143,000 in scholarships were made available to youth to participate in camp. Although our camps remain affordable, with these uncertain economic times, we project the need for camp scholarships to increase this year. Camp scholarships are not just for summer camp, we have Scouts going to fall and winter camps who are requesting help, too.

Consider joining other Scouters in helping a disadvantaged youth go to camp. On average, it costs $375 per youth participant in Scouts BSA to attend a week-long session of summer resident camp.

The need is great, the need is real, and with the support of caring individuals like you, we will be able to continue to teach young people in an outdoor classroom how to be leaders in the world.
