Fall Camporee

A Weekend of Fun Offered in the Fall

thanks for attending the 2025 fall council activities

Thank you to everyone who participated in one of our three Fall Council Activities, whether it be one of the two Fall Camporees or the Fall Webelos Action Camp in the northland!

We had over 15 different volunteers bring demonstrations and activities from their respective crafts or trades at the Stearns Fall Camporee in September, where Scouts got to do everything from participating in a virtual painting simulator to threading pipe, or watching the experts from Bartlett demonstrate how to climb, traverse, and de-limb trees!

Through coordination with the US Fish and Wildlife and Wisconsin DNR, over 100 Scouts and Scouters collected six different types of prairie flower seeds via the Conservation Service Day Camporee at Andersen Scout Camp. Participants collected enough seeds to assist the National Park Service in re-flowering up to 50 acres of prairie, which will not only restore the plant life in those areas but draw pollinating insects as well!

Over 100 Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts, Scouters, and volunteer staff gathered at Camp Horace Johnson and Adventure Base the first weekend in October to participate in activities that would prepare them for the adventures that lie ahead in Scouts BSA! Everything from Scout skills to a canoe relay, participants got to enjoy beautiful camping weather and fun themed activities. 

Thank you to all of the volunteer coordinators and staff who helped make these three events possible. We hope to see you all again in 2026!
