Safety: Incident Reporting

Help us help you! Fill out an incident report when something goes sideways with your Scout event or group. 

What is an incident? An occurrence of or allegation of injury, illness, damage or inappropriate behavior.

Why report an incident? Prompt reporting helps us get you and affected individuals the medical, insurance, interpersonal or logistical support you need to move forward.  It also helps us identify areas for improvement so we can help prevent the reoccurrence of similar incidents.

When do I report an incident? As soon as possible and immediately for serious injuries and infractions.

How do I report an incident? Utilize the Northern Star Incident Report form found in the Council Calendar and Resource Guide or by searching ‘incident report’ on www.northernstar.org.
