Community Builder Celebration

Please join us in recognizing community leaders and role models at the 2025 Community Builder Celebration on October 8, 2026 at the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront. This year, Scouting is proud to recognize B Kyle, President and CEO of the St. Paul Area Chamber as the 2026 Community Builder. 

This prestigious honor is given to a person who has uncommonly demonstrated their outstanding, long-term concern for the community and welfare of children and youth, helping in all ways to improve the community of today in every way possible.

This year's Spurgeon Awards are being presented to Jazmine Darden (Senior Principal Philanthropy Specialist, Medtronic Foundation), Glen Gunderson (President/CEO, YMCA of the North), Sia Her (Executive Director, Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans), Carter Johnson (publisher, Press Publications), and John Lindstrom (retired Fire Department Liaison Officer, Spring Lake Park High School).
